BLAST^ distributed 8 "Green Winter" holiday gift boxes in a North Boulder trailer park near Valmont & 30th.The boxes had 5 compact fluorescent (CFL) light bulbs, 10 feet of door or window weather stripping, and a low flow shower head. Also included was the handout 60 Ways to Save Money and Energy from Xcel Energy, and a personalized gift card from BLAST^.
The folks that received the gift boxes were extremely thankful and it really seemed to light up their holidays. Thank you to everyone who helped with the Green Winter project!
